I'm Shih-Ching Wei-Prichard, an educator, coach and speaker with nearly 30 years of experience supporting children, teenagers and families.
When I first trained as a Suzuki piano teacher, I was deeply inspired by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's belief that "Every Child Can." At the time, I understood it as a philosophy of music education. Over the years, through teaching, coaching and becoming a mother, I came to realise that those three simple words reach far beyond learning an instrument. They remind us that every individual learns differently and has unique strengths, potential and the capacity to grow when they are understood, encouraged and given the right support.
Whether teaching piano, coaching neurotypical or neurodivergent teenagers, or supporting parents, my passion has always been the same: helping people discover their strengths and flourish.
My own parenting journey inspired me to train as a coach and deepen my understanding of neurodiversity, enabling me to support not only children, but also their parents, educators and the professionals who work alongside them.
Today, my work brings together music education, coaching and neurodiversity-informed practice to help individuals and families build confidence, resilience and a deeper understanding of themselves and one another.
Above all, I believe that every individual deserves to be understood before they are expected to succeed.
